Paris is the birthplace, the site of Cartier's origins and the source of all inspiration. Since 1899, number 13 is the address where everything began and to which we always return.

The Fifth Avenue Mansion

Cartier's New York story begins in 1909 with Pierre Cartier's arrival in the city. It was after a legendary transaction that he acquired the Fifth Avenue Mansion in 1917, in exchange for an exceptional pearl necklace. Later, the temple would become a landmark in the heart of Manhattan.
